Location. The historic Seelbach Hilton Louisville is located downtown in the arts and culture community of Louisville, Ky. It is five blocks from the Ohio River Waterfront Park and River Walk, two miles from the Louisville Slugger Museum and Factory, and seven miles from the Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs.
Hotel Features. The Beaux Arts Baroque architecture, marble lobby and Rathskeller room are original to the 1905 hotel. The Rathskeller room is the only surviving Rookwood Pottery room in the world. Expert Tip. The Toonerville II Trolley, a reproduction streetcar featuring mahogany seats, woodwork and a solid brass bell, stops in front of The Seelbach Hilton.
