This 18th century plantation inn rests on six acres of gardens and lawns amid magnolia and pecan trees. A sunny patio offers pleasant views of hummingbirds fluttering on flowering hibiscus, and birds and butterflies gliding among Rose of Sharon trees, trellised mandevilla and velvet pansies in the gardens. The inn's parlor room offers a fireplace, piano, television with VCR and video library. Full, complimentary breakfasts, featuring puffed pancakes, blueberry French toast, fresh herb frittatas, yeast breads and baked fruits, are served each morning. "Take along" breakfasts are available upon request. Lunches and candle lit dinners are available for a fee. The elegant guestrooms at the Arrowhead Inn offer private bathrooms with two person steam showers or two person jetted tubs with bathrobes and amenities baskets.
