Location. The Grand Beach is located on Little Lake Bryan in Orlando, Fla. This resort is less than three miles from the unique shops, restaurants and entertainment of Downtown Disney, and four miles from SeaWorld Orlando. The Walt Disney World Resort and Universal Studios theme parks are approximately nine miles away.
Features. Consisting of seven buildings stretching across 18 acres, this resort is connected by landscaped walkways complemented by gardens, and palm and pine trees. High speed Internet access is offered in public areas for a fee. The resort offers a private beach, water sports, a picnic area and a gazebo at the end of a dock. A freeform heated pool, a children's pool, spa tubs and a pond with a fountain are featured at the resort. Tennis, shuffleboard and basketball courts, a game room and a fitness center are also available. Daily scheduled activities, including arts and crafts, beach volleyball, poolside karaoke and bingo, are offered for children and adults for a fee. Pets are not allowed at this property.
Guestrooms. Three bedroom condominiums at the Grand Beach Vacation Resort offer three bathrooms. The master bathrooms are equipped with jetted tubs. Fully equipped kitchens include microwave ovens, stoves, blenders, refrigerators, coffeemakers, toasters and dishwashers. All units feature private, furnished screened in balconies or patios. Satellite television, VCRs, and DVD and CD players are provided. The condos are equipped with washers and dryers. The resort provides a mid week cleaning for stays of four nights or more.
Expert Tip. Fishing, canoeing and parasailing are offered at Little Lake Bryan. Paddle boat and wakeboard rentals are available on the beach.
