The Kaktus Albir Hotel is a modern five floor property situated on the shores of the Mediterranean sea, four kilometres from the city of Altea and its golf course. The hotel features 203 air conditioned guestrooms with decor and furnishings in light pastel colours. All guestrooms open on to balconies or terraces, and include satellite television, safes, minibars, and music.
Guests can relax in the solarium or hot tub before taking a swim in the heated outdoor pool or enjoying a work out in the gym. The bar and cafeteria provides a relaxing setting for a drink or a snack, and later guests can dance the night away in the hotel's night club which features live shows and bands. Younger visitors can make friends in the hotel's games room and playground, while convention rooms are on hand for business meetings and celebrations. Drivers have access to a private car park. Guests can visit the picturesque old Spanish city of Altea four kilometers away, or the narrow streets of Alicante, 50 kilometres away. Alicante Airport is 50 kilometres from the hotel, with an approximate driving time of 60 minutes.
